A glasswasher is not a small dishwasher. It runs a shorter, gentler cycle at a lower temperature, because glassware breaks and etches under the conditions that clean a plate.

Rinse aid is what makes glasses dry clear rather than spotted, and a glasswasher without correct dosing will produce glassware no bar wants to serve in. Dose it to your water hardness, not to the bottle's generic instruction.

Drain pumps matter where the machine sits below the waste line, which under a bar it usually does.
