One rule covers most ordering errors across all of it: lids are matched to a rim diameter, not to a volume. A 90mm and a 98mm cup can both hold 16oz and their lids do not interchange. Order cups and lids together, by rim size.

The second is quantity. Per-unit pricing on disposables improves sharply by the carton and again by the pallet, so it is worth ordering to a season rather than a week.
