Prep Fridges One Door Commercial Kitchens

A single door prep fridge is the smallest bench that does the job properly: a gastronorm well for assembly, with one bay of refrigerated storage beneath.

It suits a small café counter, a food truck, or a second station added to an existing line. The well format and the refrigeration are the same as on a larger bench — there is simply less storage below.

Over-shelf versions add a raised rail for extra containers without lengthening the bench, which is the usual way to get more variety out of a short counter.

Small cabinets are least forgiving of a blocked vent and an open well. Keep the grille clear and the top covered outside service.
