Lid fit is the detail to get right. Outer-fit lids seal over the rim and hold firmly for transport; flat inner lids stack more efficiently on a shelf. Both are matched to the 117mm rim rather than to the container volume, so one lid covers the 8, 12 and 16oz sizes.
