PakMax Disposal Sugarcane Clamshell

Sugarcane bagasse clamshells are made from the fibre left after sugar is pressed — a by-product that would otherwise be waste, formed into containers that are sturdy, heat-tolerant and compostable.

They handle hot, oily and wet food better than paperboard, which is why they have become the default for burgers, fish and chips, and hot takeaway generally.

Sizes are quoted in inches across, with compartment versions dividing the container so a meal arrives separated rather than mixed. A 9x6" two-compartment holds a main and a side; a 9x9" three-compartment suits a full plate meal.
