Medical Laboratory Fridges

Showing 1–5 of 5

A vaccine or medical fridge is specified by how tightly it holds 2°C to 8°C and by whether it can prove it did. Vaccines outside that band may be ineffective, and the loss is not visible — which is why the record matters as much as the refrigeration.

Purpose-built medical cabinets use forced-air circulation to hold a uniform temperature throughout, alarm on excursion, and log continuously. A domestic or general commercial fridge does none of these things and is not acceptable for vaccine storage.

Data loggers are part of the specification, not an accessory, wherever a cold chain has to be evidenced.

Nuline and Bromic supply the range. See the Bromic MED0374GD-NR MediFridge vaccine fridge, 372L and the Medi-Log 2 digital data logger.

Check the current Strive for 5 guidelines for vaccine storage in your setting before ordering, and talk to us about matching a cabinet to them.
