Flat Table Work Bench

A flat work bench is the simplest thing in a kitchen and the one that gets used hardest. No splashback, no upstand — just a flat working surface, which is what you want when the bench sits island-style or a machine has to overhang the back edge.

The range runs from compact units to full 2400mm spans, in 600mm and 700mm depths, with and without undershelves. Modular Systems and Goldstein both supply, in gauges suited to continuous commercial use.

Goldstein's stand-mounted benches suit equipment stands and service lines: the RBA48L, RBA36L and RBA24L step down in width for tighter runs.

Confirm the depth against your appliance footprints — a 600mm bench will not carry a 700mm machine safely.
